Stripes and their combination – this theme occupies a special place of honor in a gentleman’s wardrobe. This gangster look has long been a part of carnival performances and it is hardly worth putting it on in vain. Dark blue or gray suits with a Chalk white stripe are closer to the classics. By the way, the stripes may well be colored. It looks stylish, but only if there are no questions about the color of the shirt. 

Now about the combination. There is no millennial wisdom here and it should not be sought. Choosing a suit or jacket in English Chalk stripes, choose a shirt with a Tennis stripe. And vice versa.
